I provide experienced, project-based paralegal support to attorneys and law firms on an as-needed basis. Whether you need assistance with a single assignment or ongoing overflow work, I offer flexible support designed to increase efficiency while reducing overhead costs. My paralegal services allow firms to access legal support without the financial commitment of a full-time employee. Whether you need assistance preparing for trial, organizing complex medical records, summarizing depositions, or managing discovery, my paralegal services provide a practical and cost-effective solution tailored to the unique needs of your practice.
My rates are established with an understanding of the many factors that influence paralegal billing rates, including the firm's geographic location, practice area, complexity of the work, level of experience required, and the value that experienced paralegal support brings to both the attorney and the client. I strive to offer competitive pricing that allows firms to maintain their customary billing practices while receiving high-quality, experienced support on a flexible, as-needed basis.
Long-term engagements may qualify for preferred pricing below my standard project-based hourly rate. Instead of paying placement fees to a staffing agency each time a long-term temporary need arises, many firms find value in establishing an ongoing relationship with me while gaining a reliable, experienced paralegal who already understands their practice, procedures, preferences, and expectations.
Every engagement is unique. Accordingly, hourly and flat-fee rates may vary depending on the scope of work, level of complexity, anticipated time commitment, urgency, and whether services are provided remotely or on-site. I am happy to discuss your firm's specific needs and provide a customized quote. Services are generally provided from a remote office.
Please Note: Expedited projects requiring completion within 24 hours will be subject to an additional fee.

rates
Paralegal services are available on either an hourly or project-based basis.
Hourly Rate:
My paralegal services are competitively priced to provide exceptional value while allowing your firm to maintain its customary paralegal billing rates.
In Maine, paralegal time is commonly billed to clients at approximately $100–$250 per hour. By utilizing contract paralegal services at a lower hourly rate, firms can maintain profitability while avoiding the costs associated with hiring, training, employee benefits, payroll taxes, paid time off, and staffing agency fees.
Example: If your firm bills paralegal services at $200 per hour, my hourly contract rate would be less than your firm's billed paralegal rate, allowing you to maintain your customary billing practices while benefiting from experienced, flexible paralegal support.
Project-Based Pricing:
Flat-fee arrangements are available for clearly defined projects and may provide greater predictability for budgeting purposes. Deposition summaries are priced on a per-page fee basis rather than an hourly rate. Pricing varies depending on transcript length, summary format, complexity, and requested turnaround time.
